INTRODUCTION
The British national Lottery has been running since 1994 and has proved extremely popular with the British public. Since the first draw Britain has seen a substantial growth in members of the ‘millionaire club’. Sadly I am not amongst the lucky few.

The most popular method of entering the lottery is by way of syndicates, whereby each member of a group contributes to the cost of purchasing multiple lines on tickets for a share of any win.

This method has proved successful for many people, however checking numerous lines against drawn numbers is both time consuming and it is possible to miss winning combinations.

The computer lends itself to dealing with this task very well and using my preferred development environment, Smartware ™, I set about developing this system, initially for a syndicate of 30 lines organised by my father-in-law. The success of the system has proved itself and has spotted many combinations during its one-year of use.

Many people using Smartware™ use it for home use as well as business, although many syndicates are organised in business. For both these audiences the system was developed and I hope you have as much success using it as I have.

The system is shareware and limited to 5 syndicate lines, although payment of a registration fee will unlock the system for unlimited syndicate lines. Support the shareware concept and register, it may prompt me to develop the system further.
